There is a lot of talk about reviving Catholic culture. But what is Catholic culture? We can’t even define it any more because it has been lost to the last couple of generations. This new series is worth watching.
Raising the hearts, minds and souls of those who behold art to God.

The culture of Catholicism is a world of transcendent beauty…a rich pantheon of truly sacred music, art and architecture (as opposed to the ephemerae to which one is sadly too often exposed these days). It is the stillness of the cloistered monastery. Yet, these are but the beautiful artifacts of our beliefs with which we show our deep abiding faith. In reality, our Catholic culture lies deep within our hearts and minds, even in the stillness where no church stands and no choir sings. It is receiving the Body and Blood of our Lord with reverence and humility…it is the practice of our faith, not only on major feast days, but everyday throughout the rolling year. It is the sharing of our beliefs with others.
This says it beautifully. Thank you.
Fran – I just read this and I clicked onto the series. I began backwards with the final episode first, but I intend to continue. I found it very good and informative. Thanks for sharing this with us – I would imagine this contributed to your “beauty” presentation.
Catholic culture has been almost lost to the secularism of today’s world, even among Catholics. I am on a mission to bring it back!
