An interesting reversal. I can remember that at one time some years ago, the celebration of the typical Episcopal/Anglican Sunday service was 'higher church' than the average Catholic Mass. This was, of course, prior to the onset of social engineering in both contemporary Anglo-Catholic and Roman Churches. Happily, the Holy Father has returned us to our historic roots, eschewing the abberances of socially-driven modernism for the true meanings and traditions of The one Church. It is this latter sense that orthodox Anglicans find most important; ergo their serious consideration for returning home. Will Cardinal Neuman's dream of reunification finally come to fruition? I susoect it will not be total; perhaps only a few in the beginning. Still, the greatest of floods must begin with but a ripple.

ah, but the Nobel Peace Prize he did get....not quite sure what has happened to that previously wonderful award, but it is looking rather silly these days.

Glad Chicago didn't get the Olympics, I can't imagine the corruption that would occur just trying to get the city up to speed!

A very handsome pair looking splendid indeed! It is a pleasure to see folks celebrating rather than maligning their splendid heritage..with pride and grace. Wishing we could have been there ourselves! - Andy & Susi

We were in a church in New Mexico this week and the priest is already starting to use some of the new translation. Behold the Lamb of God....instead of the made-up stuff we always hear
